A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

Choose your device below. If you already have DEBO installed, keep your existing app and account.

Install or update on Android

Tap Download Android app above.
Open debo-2.2.apk from your downloads.
If Android asks, allow your browser to install this downloaded app. Only use the file from thedebo.org; you can turn that permission off afterwards.
Tap Install or Update, then open DEBO.

Do not uninstall the existing app first. This update uses the same DEBO signing identity. Keep Android System WebView up to date.

Install on iPhone using Safari

Open thedebo.org/app/ in Safari, not an in-app browser such as Instagram.
Tap the Share button. Depending on your Safari layout, it may be inside the browser menu.
Choose Add to Home Screen. If offered, leave Open as Web App enabled.
Tap Add, then launch DEBO from its Home Screen icon.

The current iPhone version is an installable web app. A native App Store version is not available yet.

Install on Windows or Mac

Open thedebo.org/files/ in Chrome or Edge.
Click Install app in DEBO, or use the browser’s install-app option.
Confirm installation and open DEBO from your applications.
Sign in with your confirmed member email to use Files.

If an install option is unavailable, you can still use the desktop app in the browser. The desktop companion does not include the other phone member tools.

Before you get started

Do I need to be a member?

You can browse public DEBO content in the phone app. Membership card, vouching, member chat, room reservations, keys and file sharing are for confirmed members. Use your DEBO member email to sign in; new memberships need confirmation.

Can I use my phone and computer together?

Yes—one full-phone session and one desktop session can stay signed in together. Signing into the full app on another phone replaces the previous phone session. Android and the phone web app share that same phone-session slot, even on the same device.

How does file sharing work?

Files transfer directly between devices, up to 1 GB per file. Choose a member, your other device, or Everybody. The receiver must accept. Both devices must stay online with DEBO open; there is no server-stored file copy or upload fallback. Resume depends on retained file and transfer state.

Is installation free?

These DEBO downloads have no app purchase charge. Your normal internet/data charges still apply. You do not need an Apple Developer account to install the current iPhone web app.
